My Rainmeter won't load if I turn on Bitlocker on the drive that the skins are located. Bitlocker on is my preference for this drive.
I tested by decrypting the drive (G:) and the Rainmeter skins loaded normally on the desktop - if I turn Bitlocker back on the skins fail to load on the desktop giving an error that skins are not located at C:/Program Files/Rainmeter/Skins.
My skins folder is on a different drive than C: as I moved the documents folder location (path) to G:
My SkinPath (SkinPath=G:\Documents\Rainmeter\Skins) is clearly correct because the skins load when the drive is in a default decrypted state, - I checked this in Explorer and the skins live in the same folder that SkinPath is specified to in Rainmeter.ini (as shown above).
Not sure what I need to do to get my Skins loading when the drive is encrypted in Bitlocker?![shrug ]()
